Dokpa Garment makes hooded and non hooded jackets, quilted and baffled insulated jackets, shell jackets and parkas, in Budanilkantha, Kathmandu, Nepal. This study presents their range as a technical, spec led catalogue.
What we make
Three groups, built from what is visible in the photographs on file. Open the collection to filter by group, or read the evidence graded construction index for every closure, hood, pocket and quilting detail.
Attached hoods, front zips, and either an elastic cuff or a hook and loop cuff tab. One shows a large zippered chest pocket panel.
A longer hooded body with a snap placket, upper welt pockets, lower flap pockets, and a small zippered sleeve pocket.
A front zip and a high stand collar the hood folds down into, with flap or set in hand pockets depending on the garment.
A woven label reading DOKPA, MADE IN NEPAL
The inner hood label photographed for this study reads DOKPA with the words MADE IN NEPAL, and shows a size marking of M. That is the only size visible on any label supplied for this study, so no size range is published here.
