Categories observed in the photographs
Every category below is drawn from a physical garment photographed for this study, not from a catalogue or spec sheet. The construction index below breaks each visible feature out individually with its own evidence grade.
- Insulated hooded jackets. Puffy or quilted bodies with an attached hood, a front zip, and zipped hand pockets. Cuff treatment varies across the group: an elastic gathered edge on some, a hook and loop tab on others, and a plain finish with no visible tab on the off white jacket. One garment shows a large zippered chest pocket panel in a contrast colour block. Seams run in a diagonal panel line from underarm to chest on more than one jacket in this group.
- Parkas. A longer hooded jacket, observed in olive, with a front zip, a snap placket, two upper welt pockets, two lower flap pockets closed with a snap stud, and a small zippered pocket on one sleeve. The hood carries two drawcord toggle adjusters.
- Shell jackets. Lighter weight jackets with a front zip and a high stand collar that the hood folds down into, observed in charcoal and grey. Pocket treatment varies: flap pockets closed with a snap stud on the charcoal shell, plain zipped or set in hand pockets on the grey shell. The back panel shows a horizontal shoulder yoke seam.

Four original photographs from the wider supplied set were excluded before this study began, because they carried third party marks or were a phone screenshot rather than a product photograph. Three further photographs were withdrawn after drafting started, because the garments in them carried a visible third party brand mark. Observed, not assumed
Across the photographs on file: front zips, zipped hand pockets, chest pocket panels, drawcord hood adjusters, and an inner woven label reading DOKPA with the words MADE IN NEPAL. A size marking of M appears on that one label.
What we do not show: fabric names, fill types, weights, waterproof or warmth ratings, certifications, production capacity, or a size range. Those are not visible in a photograph, so this study does not state them.
